The Southeast Missouri Modelers Association (SEMMA) invites the public to fly radio-controlled model aircraft on July 10 (or just watch).

The River City Players are back with their summer production One Sweet Kiss.
In this one-hour thriller written by Emma Northcott and directed by Donna St. Sauver, audiences will experience a sinister and wryly comedic story full of twists and turns.
One Sweet Kiss will be on stage at Port Cape Restaurant in downtown Cape Girardeau Thursday, July 10, through Sunday, July 13.

The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department will host Riverfront Yoga each Saturday through September 27.
Fitness instructors will lead a yoga flow built for all levels and ages. No experience is required, and modifications will be offered. Attendees should bring a towel, a mat, and water.
Riverfront Yoga will take place this Saturday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park in downtown Cape. No registration is required, but there is a small fee of $4 to attend.

The Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library will host a Journalism Summer Camp from July 14-18.
The camp, for 5th-8th graders, is in partnership with Mizzou’s School of Journalism and will offer hands-on experiences for young journalists to learn skills and real-world insights. Veteran journalist and military history enthusiast Jim Van Nostrand will assist with the camp. Professor Kathy Kiely will be returning this year, bringing equipment from Mizzou for participants to use
Journalism Summer Camp at The Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library in Bloomfield, MO, will be held from Monday, July 14 - Friday, July 18. Space is limited.

Renowned artist Bryan Haynes will present the program "Art and the Environment" on Tuesday, July 15, from 7-8 p.m. at the Farmington Public Library.
Haynes, a native Missourian, has murals displayed in places like the Missouri Botanical Garden and the Westward Expansion Memorial Museum at the Arch. His smaller-scale paintings can be viewed online and in galleries in Washington and Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.
Mr. Haynes will discuss his "New Regionalism" artwork, inspired by the beauty of Missouri's landscape and its people. There will be time for questions.
The event is sponsored by the East Ozarks Audubon Society.
