Southern Bank is providing an awesome class to teach kids how to save and spend wisely! Kids will experience a story called “A Tale of Two Siblings” then work together to talk about the siblings’ saving and spending habits. Participants will practice subjects like math, language arts, and personal finance.
For ages 8-11 at the Main Branch, Jackson.
Take some dedicated time to make progress on your craft, handiwork or sewing project and visit with others who also love to craft.

Curious about American Mahjong but not sure where to start? Join us for an introductory class on how to play American Mahjong. During the program participants will learn the tools and rules of this popular game. No prior experience is needed, just bring your curiosity and join the fun.

Love stitching and reading? Join our new Stitch & Listen group! Bring your favorite fiber arts project and your own audiobook to enjoy while you craft alongside fellow enthusiasts. Share tips, chat about your projects, or discover new techniques in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Please bring your own supplies, device, and headphones. We’ll have some extra yarn, needles, and scissors available, plus hot drinks and snacks to keep you cozy.

Connections Memory Cafe is an informal social gathering for people living with dementia and their care partners to enjoy activities, games, socialization, snacks and beverages, and much more.

Cafes are not drop-off centers or adult day programs. Caregivers are welcome without care receivers. Care receivers must be accompanied by their care partner to participate.

Embark on a thrilling role-playing adventure with Tuesday Night Game’s Mothership: Dinoplex Cataclysm! This summer, join fellow spacers and workers for a much-needed vacation at Dinoplex—a space station resort orbiting a planet teeming with real, resurrected dinosaurs. Enjoy attractions like the Tricera Rodeo and the Extinction Extravaganza, but beware: in true Mothership fashion, danger lurks beneath the surface of this aging, questionably managed park.
No experience is needed—pre-made characters are available, or bring your own! Dice, notebooks, and pencils are recommended but not required. Snacks are welcome. Each short campaign tells a complete story arc, with new sessions starting every four weeks. Registration is required and covers all sessions in the arc. Will you survive the Cataclysm?
