The Historic Preservation Alumni Chapter at SEMO will present Dennis Stroughmatt et l’Esprit Creole* on April 12.
The concert will feature songs of the French Creoles who settled in Illinois-Missouri country near the Ozark foothills more than 300 years ago and music that bridges the gap between contemporary Canadian and Louisiana Cajun styles.
You can see Dennis Stroughmatt et l’Esprit Creole in Kem Hall at the Wehking Alumni Center on April 12 from 7:30-9 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

Saint Francis Healthcare System will present KRCU's 2nd Annual Music on the River on Saturday, May 4, from 5:30-9 p.m.
Make plans to join us at River Campus Park for an evening of good music, dinner, and drinks in support of KRCU Public Radio. Music lineup includes Sam + Jess, SEMO Steel Drum Band, and Ivas John Band. Buffet dinner includes: garden salad, pulled pork, fried chicken, mac and cheese, BBQ baked beans, cheddar jalapeno cornbread, strawberry shortcake, tea, water, soda, beer, and wine.
