The Cape Riverfront Market takes place each Saturday morning through October from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 35 S. Spanish Street in Downtown Cape Girardeau.
Patrons of the farmers’ market can find a wide variety of vendors selling hot breakfast and lunch foods, farm-fresh produce, meats and cheeses, baked goods, jams, honey, flowers and plants, arts and crafts, and natural wellness products, all of which are locally grown, homemade, and handmade. Each week will feature live music, as well.

Build reading readiness and kindergarten readiness skills with our Preschool Storytime program! This fun and educational program features longer books that are accompanied by a variety of activities, including flannel boards, dramatics, and songs.
(Ages 3-5)
This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop-offs will not be permitted.
Join our guest instructor Abby Cheney for an 8-week introduction to American Sign Language (ASL)! By registering for this program, you are committing to eight programs that will meet every Tuesday from 4 pm - 5 pm. (ages 9-11)

Join us for Toddler Time—an interactive storytime designed to spark your child’s love of books and language! Through lively stories, catchy songs, and playful activities, toddlers will explore the joy of reading while building essential early literacy skills. Parents and caregivers will also discover creative ways to support their child’s learning journey at home. Come share the fun and watch your little one’s imagination grow! (ages 1-2)
Is your kid interested in learning Spanish, the world's fourth most-spoken language? Sign them up for our 8-week introduction to Spanish with guest lecturer, Carla Vaca Diez! By registering for this program, you are committing to 8 programs that will meet every Thursday from 4:00–5:00 pm. (ages 9-11)

Come trick or treat at the mill!
FREE and open to the public.
Activities:
4–7 p.m. - Trick-or-Treating on all floors of the mill. Candy and Halloween trinkets provided by site staff. The mill will be decorated for Halloween.
4-7 p.m. – SEMO Snocones and Ice Cream will be on site selling hot cocoa, caramel apple cups, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream and snocones.
This is a family-friendly event. Remember to wear a costume and bring a bucket or bag to collect candy!
