The Crisp Museum will host “Then & Now: Works by SEMO Alumni & Faculty” from September 4 through October 17.
This exhibition is a celebration of learning, collaboration, and the evolving relationship between teacher and artist. Professors engage with viewers and students alike, discussing techniques and inspiration, while students gain confidence seeing their creations displayed alongside those who have guided them.
**An opening reception will take place on Friday, September 4, from 4-8 p.m.
“Then & Now” will run from Friday, September 4, through Saturday, October 17, at the Crisp Museum on Southeast’s River Campus.

The Cape Riverfront Market takes place each Saturday morning through October from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 35 S. Spanish Street in Downtown Cape Girardeau.
Patrons of the farmers’ market can find a wide variety of vendors selling hot breakfast and lunch foods, farm-fresh produce, meats and cheeses, baked goods, jams, honey, flowers and plants, arts and crafts, and natural wellness products, all of which are locally grown, homemade, and handmade. Each week will feature live music, as well.

This program is designed for children and accompanying adults. Please plan to attend and be engaged with your child for this program. Drop-offs will not be permitted.
Join our guest instructor Abby Cheney for an 8-week introduction to American Sign Language (ASL)! By registering for this program, you are committing to eight programs that will meet every Tuesday from 4 pm - 5 pm. (ages 9-11)

Unwind and recharge with our Gentle Yoga class, held every Wednesday. This hour-long session is perfect for all levels and focuses on relaxation, gentle movement, and mindful breathing—ideal for mid-week stress relief. Please bring your own yoga mat or bath towel, and a yoga block if you have one. Space is limited; registration is required to reserve your spot. Join us and find your calm! (ages 18+)
