KRCU Public Radio Morning Edition Co-Host/ProducerIsabelle Murphy, a native of Salem, IL, joined KRCU Public Radio in Sept. 2023. She is the co-producer of the podcasts 'SEMO Spotlight' and 'Exposition', and also serves as co-host of 'Morning Edition' on KRCU Public Radio. Isabelle is a Music: Vocal Performance Major at Southeast Missouri State and is active in vocal ensembles and performances at the River Campus.

On Friday, December 13, the Southeast Missouri State University Board of Governors approved naming the institution’s future health sciences building in honor of former U.S. Senator Roy Blunt. The Roy Blunt Health Professions Hall will be a 55,000-square-foot facility providing new academic and lab space for SEMO’s Department of Allied Health, Kinesiology, and Sport Sciences.

Southeast alumnus Tim Nicolai graduated in 2005 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in acting and directing. Nicolai is currently an Assistant Professor at the Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre & Dance.
