Going Public: Matt Bowyer with MO Dept. of Conservation Talks About Ongoing Wildfire Control Efforts in Southern MO
Matt Bowyer, Southeast Region Administrator for the Missouri Department of Conservation, provided an update on the wildfires in southern Missouri. The fires are primarily in Wayne, Reynolds, and Iron Counties, with some scattered throughout the Ozarks. The fires started before a tornado, with high fire weather conditions contributing.

Exposition: A Preview of SEMO's Wind Symphony and University Concert Band 2025 Spring Concert
Dr. Jim Daughters, director of the concert and Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Bands, gives us an exclusive insight into the 2025 Wind Symphony and University Concert Band Spring Concert. Trombone performance major Will Wallace also shares his experience preparing for the performance. The concert is on Tues. April 22nd, at 7:30 p.m. in the Bedell Performance Hall.

In this episode of 'Exposition', we speak with the well-established Keith Sykes, the first featured performer of the 2025 Tunes at Twilight event held annually by downtown Old Town Cape. All 'Tunes at Twilight' performances are at the Ivers Square Gazebo, 44 N. Lorimier in Downtown Cape Girardeau, on Fridays from 7 to 8 pm. The event opens with Keith Sykes on Fri. May 9th, and runs every Friday until June 13th for the Spring Series.
