Adit Das is a sophomore at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in Mathematics. Outside of academics, he serves as the ambassador for the math department, a campus tour guide, and the secretary of the Bangladeshi Student Association.

Founded in 2000, the orchestra is comprised of area music educators, professional musicians, and talented high school and college students. This big band plays a wide variety of music, including jazz standards, Latin favorites, Rock' n Roll, and Pop Hits...something for all ages to enjoy. Jake Gerard, City Engineer of Cape Girardeau, discussed road maintenance projects funded by the Transportation Trust Fund (TTF). The TTF, approved by voters last April, focuses on maintaining existing roads rather than new construction. Current projects include an 18-month overhaul of Lexington Street, a 12-month repair on Perryville, and a design-in-house project on South Sprigg Street.

She officially added professional pilot to her already demanding pre-med curriculum in 2023, thanks in part to encouragement from SEMO’s Director of Aviation, Miranda Sullivan.
