Exposition: Student Actors Preview the River Campus Production of 'The Wizard of Oz'
Nathan Anderson is pursuing a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a double minor in Music and Dance. Garrett Langley is pursuing a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with a minor in Interior Design. Nathan and Garrett are performing in SEMO's River Campus production of The Wizard of Oz.

Amy Elfrink graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1991. She later returned to her Alma Mater to pursue a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, and graduated in 2020.

Exposition: International Students Aameir Alam and Shema Zulfiqar Preview SEMO's Carpe Diem
Aameir Alam is an international student from Bangladesh finishing his senior year studying Computer Science at Southeast. He also serves as the president of the Bangladeshi Student Association on campus. Shema Zulfiqar is a freshman international student from Pakistan majoring in Nutrition at SEMO. She serves as the vice president of the Muslim Student Association at Southeast.

On Wednesday, (Feb. 21), Rep. John Voss, a Republican representing Cape Girardeau Co. in the 147th District, introduced HB 2777, which aims to establish clear qualification standards for Missouri Coroners, and would ensure that individuals in these roles are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills for the job.

Exposition: National 'Poetry Out Loud' Competition Comes to SE Region with Help From Arts Council of Southeast Missouri
Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering free educational materials and a dynamic recitation competition for high school students across the country. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life.

Exposition: Kasey Sharpe Shares Her Preparation Experience for SEMO's Winter Dance Collection Performances
Kasey Sharpe is one of the performers in the upcoming River Campus production, the Winter Dance Collection. The productions which run from Thurs. Feb. 15th through Sun. Feb. 18th, feature an original work by choreographer Kia Smith, and showcase a variety of original works by student and faculty choreographers.

Anna Simmons is a senior undergraduate student at Southeast pursuing a Bachelor's in Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in digital art. Last fall, Anna studied abroad in France for 16 weeks with SEMO's Department of Communication Studies and Modern Languages.
