The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance will present Legally Blonde.
This feel-good musical follows Elle Woods, a fashionable and bubbly sorority girl who enrolls in Harvard Law School to win back her ex. Along her journey, she discovers her own potential and develops a passion for justice. The musical features a vibrant score by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin and celebrates self-discovery, breaking stereotypes, and embracing one’s true capabilities.
You can see Legally Blonde in the Bedell Performance Hall at SEMO’s River Campus from April 9-12. Tickets are available online or at the River Campus Box Office.

The Holland College of Arts and Media will present “Broadway Bound” on April 18.
This event, hosted by alums Matthew Buttrey and Audrey Stanfield, will celebrate graduating seniors in the Musical Theater, Acting, and Design and Technology BFA programs as they prepare to showcase their work in New York City. Proceeds will help launch these artists from conservatory training to the professional stage.
“Broadway Bound” will take place on Saturday, April 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the Bedell Performance Hall at Southeast’s River Campus.
Drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
