The Cape Riverfront Market takes place each Saturday morning through October from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 35 S. Spanish Street in Downtown Cape Girardeau.
Patrons of the farmers’ market can find a wide variety of vendors selling hot breakfast and lunch foods, farm-fresh produce, meats and cheeses, baked goods, jams, honey, flowers and plants, arts and crafts, and natural wellness products, all of which are locally grown, homemade, and handmade. Each week will feature live music, as well.

Old Town Cape will host its Downtown Sculpture Exhibition Kickoff on June 27.
Selected sculptures for the 2026 Downtown Sculpture Exhibition will be announced at the kickoff, and attendees can meet the artists. The free, family-friendly event will also feature a potter, sidewalk chalk painting, plein air painting, dancers, boat floats in the fountain, button making, live music, and more. Food and craft vendors will be on site, as well.
The Downtown Sculpture Exhibition Kickoff will take place from 5 - 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, at Ivers Square in Cape Girardeau.

Embark on a thrilling role-playing adventure with Tuesday Night Game’s Mothership: Dinoplex Cataclysm! This summer, join fellow spacers and workers for a much-needed vacation at Dinoplex—a space station resort orbiting a planet teeming with real, resurrected dinosaurs. Enjoy attractions like the Tricera Rodeo and the Extinction Extravaganza, but beware: in true Mothership fashion, danger lurks beneath the surface of this aging, questionably managed park.
No experience is needed—pre-made characters are available, or bring your own! Dice, notebooks, and pencils are recommended but not required. Snacks are welcome. Each short campaign tells a complete story arc, with new sessions starting every four weeks. Registration is required and covers all sessions in the arc. Will you survive the Cataclysm? The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band performs each Wednesday evening in June and July. Guest artists perform at 7 PM. The Muny Band performs at 7:30 PM.
The free concerts take place each Wednesday evening at the Dan Cotner Amphitheater in Capaha Park. Be sure to bring your blankets or lawn chairs.
