Are you looking for a gentle yoga class or interested in some mid-week destressing? Join us for an hour of gentle yoga, held every Wednesday. Please bring your own yoga mat or bath towel, as well as a yoga block for your practice. Space is limited and registration is required. (Ages 18+)
Join us to read an advanced picture book together, discuss it, then do enriching activities related to the story. This will be a fun club for improving literacy, encouraging read-aloud confidence, and making friends. For ages 5-7 at the Main Branch, Jackson.
The Missouri Department of Conservation will host a Spring Wildflower Walk on April 1.
Missouri’s spring wildflowers are on full display. This walk at Apple Creek Conservation Area will showcase wildflowers that bloom before the canopy of leaves shade them out. The trail at Apple Creek is gravel and flat with some uneven terrain. Please bring sturdy shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and a bottle of water.
The free wildflower walk will take place on Wednesday, April 1, from 1 - 4:30 p.m. Please meet at the Cape Girardeau Nature Center. Transportation to and from Apple Creek will be provided by the Nature Center.

The Southeast Metropolitan Planning Organization (SEMPO) will hold a public information meeting on April 1.
The meeting will be open house style, sharing and receiving information on the 2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP contains a prioritized, fiscally-constrained, multi-year list of federally funded transportation projects and improvements.
The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Osage Centre in Cape Girardeau.
Looking to compete against other chess players? Join our Chess Club, a great way to learn strategy, connect with others, and enjoy chess! This club is designed for adults who are interested in or have experience playing chess. Chess Club is held in the Genealogy Room in Adult Services. (Ages 18+)

Join us for a continuation of our Beginning Crochet class, led by Dawn Lambert from Crocheting Beauty. Dawn will review what was covered in the first class and build on those skills by teaching some basic stitches. Please bring your crochet hook and skein of yarn with you to class. Refreshments will be available for participants. Registration for this class is required. (Ages 18+)
