MDC: Spring Wildflower Walk
MDC: Spring Wildflower Walk
The Missouri Department of Conservation will host a Spring Wildflower Walk on April 1.
Missouri’s spring wildflowers are on full display. This walk at Apple Creek Conservation Area will showcase wildflowers that bloom before the canopy of leaves shade them out. The trail at Apple Creek is gravel and flat with some uneven terrain. Please bring sturdy shoes, weather appropriate clothing, and a bottle of water.
The free wildflower walk will take place on Wednesday, April 1, from 1 - 4:30 p.m. Please meet at the Cape Girardeau Nature Center. Transportation to and from Apple Creek will be provided by the Nature Center.
