The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a fast-paced, wildly funny show with a vibrant score you’ll be humming all week long, and you can see it at the Rust Flexible Theatre at the River Campus June 15-28.

Texas’ third smallest town, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies, comes to life at the River Campus, June 16-22, with ‘Greater Tuna.’

The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band is back at the Capaha Park Band Shell with their first concert of the season on Wednesday, June 7th at 7:30 p.m., where they’ll play Rock and Roll tunes.

Speaking of tunes (at twilight), the Moho Trippers take the stage at the Common Pleas Courthouse Gazebo on Friday, June 9th at 7:30 p.m., where you’ll hear jazz standards, soulful originals and cabaret classics.

Get a paddle wet and enjoy a summer evening from a canoe at the Nature Center’s Canoeing Fun event on Friday, June 2nd from 4-7 p.m. The kids fishing pond is a great place for beginners to try their skills and practice their strokes. Brief instruction and safety tips will be provided and then families are on their own to paddle away.
