All About Cape: Pickleball & MO Gun and Knife Show

Are you a fan of the game pickleball? Head on out to the Second Annual SEMO Chemo Smash Pickleball Tournament Saturday, February 29 and Sunday, March 1 at the Cape Girardeau Sports Plex.  If you want to take part in the action as a player, the deadline to register is February 22.

Last year’s hunting statistics are in and roughly 3,000 deer were harvested in Cape Girardeau County in 2019, according to the Missouri Department of Conservation.  If you are an avid hunter, it’s never too early to be thinking about next deer season.  Find the perfect rifle for your buck at the Missouri Gun and Knife Show, coming March 6, 7 and 8 at the Show Me Center.  More than 450 tables will boast shotguns, knives, accessories and more -- just waiting to become part of your collection.

If you’re looking for a relaxing spot to go after the Missouri Gun and Knife Show, head over to one of our many local eateries.  There are a variety of cuisines to choose from, so you’ll find exactly what you are looking for!

No matter what your interests, Cape Girardeau brings plenty of entertainment options.
