All About Cape: Classic Cars and Basketball

If you’re a fan of nostalgia and classic cars, then make a trip to the Smith Classic Car Auction. Coming to the Show Me Center on Saturday, March 14 there will be vehicles ranging from Model Ts to muscle cars. With all of that in store, you just might end up driving one of these vintage cars home.

Why not make your first cruise in your new dream car, a trip taking the kiddos to Play Cape!  On Saturday,  March 14 at the Osage Center you’ll uncover endless fun for the whole family. From games and activities to door prizes and more, "Play Cape Saturday" is sure to be a great time. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to sign up for Parks & Recreation Department classes, leagues and events, along with other camps and activities offered by community groups.

Then cruise out to the Cape Sportsplex and watch the Cape Girardeau Madness Super Showcase Basketball tournament.  Teams will be playing on March 14 and 15.  You get a chance to see teams from around the region show their skills.

After that adventure packed day, refuel at one of the local restaurants. With over fifty eateries that range from local fare, to your favorite chains and upscale dining, you’re sure to find the perfect place to grab a bite.
