The Republican candidate for Missouri’s Eighth Congressional District seat raised $308,000 since he seized his party’s nomination.

In a press release, Jason Smith’s campaign says it has received contributions from each of the 30 counties in the district.

Democratic candidate Steve Hodges has pulled in nearly $121,000 during the last 20 days of March. The state representative from East Prairie still has $117,000 on hand. His campaign notes that $98,000 came from over 250 individual donors.
