An image from the redevelopment plan of the Kent Library Plaza, which will be renamed "Talbert Terrace" once the project is complete. The Board approved naming the revitalized area “Talbert Terrace” in recognition of a gift from Dr. and Mrs. C.R. Talbert to fund the redevelopment.

SEMO to Establish "Talbert Terrace" at Kent Library Plaza

Southeast Missouri State University will transform the Kent Library Plaza into donor-funded "Talbert Terrace", a new campus gathering space with improved ADA access, set for completion in the Fall of 2026.
