SoutheastHEALTH Center Of Stoddard Co. Officially Reopens After Month Long Tornado Damage Repairs

Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County

In early July Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County was impacted by an EF2 tornado touching down and damaging various areas of the building.

The repair process began in mid July, and the clinic was waiting to have all units back to complete operation before the hospital reopened entirely.

As of August 4th, the Health Center has officially reopened all of its operating inpatient services including Emergency Services and Behavioral Health centers.

Southeast Health announced the reopening after under a month of repair work.

Sue Anne Williams, CEO of Southeast Health explained that the process was completed efficiently through volunteer efforts and community team work.

"I mean this community, they are so supportive of this facility, and we couldnt do it without them," said Watson. "Its a community effort, we're here for the community and it's evident that the community was here for us."

The final facility units for out-patients including Imaging, Mammography, Lab and Physical Therapy are expected to reopen at full capacity later this week.
