Leading Distribution & Logistics Company Selects Butler, Missouri As Location For New Facility

Missouri Department of Economic Development

A leading nationwide transportation and warehousing provider, Frozen Food Express (FFE) Transportation Services, Inc. is expanding its business with a new facility in Butler, Missouri, investing nearly $6 million and creating nearly 60 new jobs in the region.

Frozen Food Express Transportation Services is a nationwide utility which has been providing temperature-controlled food shipping and delivery since 1943.

The business selected Butler for the location of their newest transportation and logistics facility due to its strong workforce and welcoming business climate.

Missouri Partnership CEO Subash Alias expressed his appreciation for the development, explaining that Butler is also advantageous due to its position as a hub for the specific type of business.

“Our state is a leading location for companies in distribution and logistics thanks to our strategic location in the center of the country,” said Alias. “FFE Transportation’s investment in Missouri further solidifies our state’s crucial role in the food supply chain.”

On June 9th, Governor Mike Parson attended a honorary ribbon cutting to welcome FFE to Butler and Missouri.
