The Crisp Museum will host the 48th Annual “Exhibiting Excellence” Juried High School Exhibition through March 8.
The exhibition highlights the talent of regional students in grades 11 and 12 residing in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois and features sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, photography, drawing, painting, digital art, fibers, and more.
“Exhibiting Excellence” will run through Sunday, March 8, at the Crisp Museum on Southeast’s River Campus.
Museum Hours:Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.Saturday 1-4 p.m.First Fridays of the Month 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance will present the world premiere of Six Inches Above the Knee.
Written by Sally Seitz, winner of the 2025 Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival, the dark comedy follows four prep school friends out for revenge after no one believes that their friend was assaulted by her coach. Their plot soon spirals into chaos. Is murder the only way to ensure no other students get hurt?
You can see Six Inches Above the Knee in the Rust Flexible Theater at the River Campus from February 26-March 1. Tickets are available online or at the River Campus Box Office.

Join us for another fun puzzle swap! Bring in your old puzzles (with all pieces included) and swap them out for new-to-you puzzles. Drop off puzzles at the Information Desk anytime during regular business hours from February 21 through the 27th. You will receive one puzzle token for each puzzle you bring in.
Bring your puzzle tokens in on Saturday, February 28, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. to exchange them for puzzles brought in by other members of the community.

Since the birth of nation, women have been an integral part to its growth and success. Despite the role they have played in the United States, they still are fighting to obtain equality.
This talk will discuss the contributions of women in history who advocated for social justice and equality in the past 250 years. There will be special emphasis of the contributions of Women of Color and Women in Missouri.
