The Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department will host Riverfront Yoga each Saturday through September 27.
Fitness instructors will lead a yoga flow built for all levels and ages. No experience is required, and modifications will be offered. Attendees should bring a towel, a mat, and water.
Riverfront Yoga will take place this Saturday from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park in downtown Cape. No registration is required, but there is a small fee of $4 to attend.

The Crisp Museum will present Shutter and Sound: The Jazz Photography of Bob Willoughby from September 2 through October 19.
Willoughby photographed jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, and Louis Armstrong, among others. The exhibit features 50 images reflecting the dynamic jazz scene of the 1950s.
Shutter and Sound will be on display September 2 through October 19 at the Crisp Museum at SEMO’s River Campus.
**Opening Reception will take place on Friday, September 5, from 4-8 p.m.

Early Times & the High Rollers are on tour in support of their new album "Fallen Angels," and will be playing a house concert on Saturday, September 6, at 7 p.m.
It will be nice to back at the house with such a great performer. According to Blues Blast Magazine "Early Times is one of the most enigmatic folks in the blues world — a guitarist and vocalist of note who has reinvented himself as a New York based street poet and blues rocker."
Show is Saturday, September 6, at 1122 Patricia Street. Doors open at 6:30. Performance runs from 7-9 p.m. Bring your own favorite beverage. Reservations needed (so we can set up enough chairs). Riverside Regional Library Jackson will host "Craft & Chat" on Monday, September 8, from 10-11 a.m.
Take some dedicated time to make progress on your craft, handiwork, or sewing project and visit with others who also love to craft.

The Southeast Missouri Food Bank will host its second annual Hunger Action Resource Fair on September 8.
The event will include resources for veterans’ services, personal care for the elderly and disabled, behavioral health, employment assistance, services for the blind, foster care information, pregnancy and parenting support, and health screenings for low-income individuals. The event is open to all residents of the food bank’s 16-county service area.*
The Hunger Action Resource Fair will take place Monday, September 8, from 10 AM to 1:30 PM at the Southeast Missouri Food Bank at 600 State Highway H in Sikeston.
*The food bank’s 16-county coverage area includes Bollinger, Butler, Cape Girardeau, Carter, Dunklin, Madison, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, Perry, Reynolds, Ripley, Scott, Ste. Genevieve, Stoddard and Wayne counties.

The Crisp Museum hosts Art for Adults each Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon.
Beginners learn to mix colors, arrange a palette, use and clean brushes correctly in a small group setting. Attendees may use the museum’s supplies or bring their own acrylics, oils, soft pastels, or watercolors. Mini lessons are taught by Ellen Flentge.
Art for Adults takes place Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Crisp Museum on Southeast’s River Campus. There is a small fee to attend.
