A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire region through Thursday morning. Early Wednesday morning, wind chills ranged from 0 to 8 below zero and will sink to 7 to 15 below zero early Thursday morning. Multiple area schools and county offices are closed until Thursday, and city schedules have been delayed or postponed until Thursday as well.

Early morning, the National Weather Service forecast office in Paducah, KY provided an update on the estimated ending times of accumulating snow. Snow is expected to taper off from west to east late this afternoon through this evening.
