According to the Missouri Department of Transportation, North and Southbound Route 61 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to a 12-foot wide restriction from Monday, Apr. 8 through Saturday, May 25.

Nightly restrictions in Jackson will take place from Route 25 to Old Orchard from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

In Cape Girardeau, County Park Drive to Route 74, also known as South Kingshighway, restrictions will take place from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. Route 74 to the I-55 overpass will be restricted between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.

These work zones will be marked with signs, and MoDOT encourages drivers to use caution when travelling near these areas.
