City Of Cape Girardeau Hosts 'Grappling For Good' Fundraiser For Cape Special Olympics

City of Cape Girardeau

The City Of Cape Girardeau will host ‘Grappling For Good’, an event in support of the Cape Special Olympics.

Special Olympics Missouri is a year-round program of sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

At the event, police officers, firefighters, military personnel, and other first responders will participate with special-olympic trainees in 12 grappling matches to raise money and spread awareness for the organization.

Tickets are available online and at the door the day of the competition.

All proceeds go directly to Special Olympics Missouri.

The event will be held on on Saturday, July 24 at 6 p.m at the Eagles Banquet Hall (321 Spring Street, Cape Girardeau).
