The Cape Girardeau Municipal Band will open its Summer 2025 concert season on Wednesday, June 4. The SEMO Steel Drum Band will be the guest artist, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Cape Muny Band performs each Wednesday night at Capaha Park during June and July from 7:30-8:30 p.m. and features a guest artist at 7 p.m.

The opening concert on June 4 will include:

"Miami March" (Henry Fillmore)
"Horse and Buggy" (Leroy Anderson)
"Themes from Green Bushes" (Percy Grainger, arr. Larry Daehn)
"The Mandalorian" (Ludwig Goransson, arr. Paul Murtha)
"Tower of Power" (Arr. Victor Lopez)
"Welsh Rhapsody" (Clare Grundman)
"The Billboard March" (John Klohr)
"The Sound of Music" (Richard Rodgers, arr. Robert Russell Bennett)

The free concert will take place Wednesday, June 4, at 7:00 p.m. at the Dan Cotner Amphitheater in Capaha Park. Be sure to bring your blankets or lawn chairs.
