Cape Girardeau Mayor Bob Fox On Why Council Decided To Hire Second Consultant For Aquatic Facility

Lindsey Grojean/KRCU

Every month, KRCU sits down with Cape Girardeau Mayor Bob Fox to find out what’s happening in city government. In our latest conversation, we discussed city council decisions made in July, specifically - why they decided to hire a second consultant for a new aquatic facility on the east side of the city. We also talked about decisions made on medical marijuana buffer zones, the effects of high Mississippi River levels on downtown Cape, and a Capital Improvement Tax which voters will see on the ballot Aug. 6.
