Cape Girardeau Roller Derby (CGRD) hosted an unofficial recruitment event at the A. C. Brase Arena Building Feb. 1, where potential new members had the chance to learn roller derby basics. Members of CGRD describe the activity as a perfect combination of stress relief, friendship, and community involvement.

SEMO’s River Campus is presenting Fall for Dance, a bold and eclectic collection of dance pieces featuring a variety of styles from ballet to jazz. The performances will be held at 7:30 p.m on Nov. 17-19 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 20 in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall.
