Southeast Missouri State University To Host Annual 'Family Weekend' Sept. 24-26

Southeast Missouri State University

Southeast Missouri State University will host its annual ‘Family Weekend’ from Sept. 24-26th with a series of activities and events on Southeast’s campus and in Downtown Cape Girardeau.

The event was cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Events held at the University on Saturday include a fall-themed flower and plant sale, tours of the Campus, and outdoor activities such as carnival games, family competitions, crafts, a picnic and lawn games.

SEMO will also be playing football against Tennessee State over the weekend. There will be a Football tailgate in front of Houck Stadium prior to the event.

Downtown, students and their families can decorate a flower pot at Catapult Creative House, take tours of the River Campus, attend the Cape Riverfront Market, and watch a comedy show.

Face coverings are required at events in university buildings, and on university shuttles.

For more information on dates, times, and events, you may visit Southeast Missouri State University's Campus News page.
