High Noon Five: Betty Anne McCaskill, 3rd District Senate Race, Grand Theft Auto

Republican Gary Romine and Democrat Joe Fallert are battling for voters in Missouri’s 3rd Senate District. Romine, from Farmington, is a businessman and former chief-of-staff for former state Senators Kevin Engler and Bill Alter. Fallert represents Ste. Genevieve County and southern Jefferson County in the Missouri House. Fallert worked at Mississippi Lime Company for 39 years. The Daily Journal’s Kevin R. Jenkins has a biography of each candidate.

The two Arkansas men who struck a group of joggers on Sunday in Cape Girardeau said it was “fun” and likened it to playing the video game Grand Theft Auto. The Southeast Missourian’s Scott Moyers reportsnone of the joggers were seriously injured.
