The Crisp Museum will host the 48th Annual “Exhibiting Excellence” Juried High School Exhibition through March 8.
The exhibition highlights the talent of regional students in grades 11 and 12 residing in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois and features sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, photography, drawing, painting, digital art, fibers, and more.
“Exhibiting Excellence” will run through Sunday, March 8, at the Crisp Museum on Southeast’s River Campus.
Museum Hours:Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.Saturday 1-4 p.m.First Fridays of the Month 9 a.m.-8 p.m.

Southeast’s Department of Music will present Dr. Patrick Hopkins and Matt Yount in concert on February 22.
The afternoon will be filled with works for cello and piano by Boccherini, Bruch, Paganini, and more.
The Hopkins & Yount recital will take place on Sunday, February 22, at 3 p.m. in the Shuck Music Recital Hall at Southeast’s River Campus. The recital is free and open to the public.
Feb 23 Monday
Our sensory craft times specialize in making crafts accessible and available to adults with mental disabilities. All are welcome to join, however, this session has been structured for adults with mental, behavioral, or physical disabilities. Two sessions are offered each month; please register for only one session.
This month we are making heart-shaped ornaments using yarn and cardboard!

Each month, our Bite-Sized Chefs program helps kids build their recipe repertoire by exploring creative culinary techniques that are easy and pleasing to the eye. Create and enjoy a sample at the library, then take home the recipe ideas to dazzle your family and friends! (Ages 6-11)

Build reading readiness and kindergarten readiness skills with our Preschool Storytime program! This fun and educational program features longer books that are accompanied by a variety of activities, including flannel boards, dramatics, and songs.
