Uptown Jackson will be the place to celebrate Autumn and the harvest season at the ninth annual Oktoberfest.

Enjoy live music throughout the event along with food, vendors and seasonal craft beers. Friday night kickoff will feature The Fault Line Band, a crowd favorite. Saturday, you can check out the authentic German Band Die Fluss Katzen, followed by Jackson's own Doug Rees, and Saturday's headliner, Old Cape Road.

In addition, there will be a costumed pet parade on Saturday to be followed by a cornhole tournament, pumpkin painting, German Cuisine competition and more.

Oktoberfest will take place in Uptown Jackson from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, October 7 and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 8.
