25th Annual Children's Arts Festival
The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri will host its 25th Annual Children’s Arts Festival beginning February 7.
This year’s festival will feature a Beatles’ “Yellow Submarine” theme, over 200 visual art pieces and poetry created by student artists, student musicians from regional schools, a “Magical Mystery Tour” scavenger hunt, as well as performances by Fab 4 cover band The Abbey Road Warriors.
The Children’s Arts Festival will take place on Friday, February 7 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, February 8, from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Scout Hall in Cape Girardeau.
All Arts Council proceeds support after school programming for the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Missouri.
We encourage you to participate in the First Friday family-friendly activities and to join us on Saturday for afternoon and evening performances.
All festivities will take place at Scout Hall at 420 Broadway in Cape. Friday is free with a suggested donation of $5. Saturday’s performances are $5 for the family-friendly afternoon performance, and $10 for the evening performance.
