On this episode of Going Public we talk with Dr. Steven Hoffman, Coordinator of the Historic Preservation Program at Southeast Missouri State University.

Hoffman talks about the program, some of the work students do and the hands-on experience they receive as well as some of the behind the scenes work that goes into saving historic buildings.

Dan is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He majored in radio and minored in political science. He spent three of his four years at Southeast working as a student announcer at KRCU – the beginning of his radio career.
