His day-to-day responsibilities tend to be a mashup of graphic design, web design, photography and any other visual design challenge the station can throw at him. A career in radio was a surprising turn for me seeing that my first love was science. I studied chemistry at the University of Akron and for 13 years lived the quiet life of an analytical chemist in the Akron area,listening to WKSU all the while in the lab.

Born and raised in Maryland, Gabrielle Pierre has a deep passion for innovation and storytelling. With a Bachelor of Arts in Business of Creative Enterprises and a specialization in Music History and Culture from Emerson College, Gabrielle works to create fresh and imaginative music-driven experiences across audiences.
