The magnitude 7.5 earthquake caused evacuations from buildings in Afghanistan, India and Pakistan. The Associated Press reports more than 228 deaths and 1,000 injured in Pakistan alone.
Earthquake In Northern Afghanistan Rattles Region
The epicenter of the magnitude-7.5 quake was in a region straddling Pakistan and Afghanistan and was felt strongly in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
