A new program has been launched at the Community Caring Council in Cape Girardeau. EDGE, which stands for “Empowering Dads to Gain Employment”, is tailored to serve fathers in southeast Missouri who have a child support case, and need help getting a job. It came in the form of a grant, and was approved in September of 2018. We spoke with Christian Freeman, the program’s coordinator, about EDGE, and how it came about.
