Brother David, Longtime Principal Of Notre Dame, Is Assigned New Position In NY By Religious Order

On Saturday, Aug. 17, Notre Dame Regional High School announced the departure of long-time principal, Brother David Anthony Migliorino.

According to a press release from the Catholic Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau, Migliorino has accepted another assignment from his religious order of the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn, NY to serve as principal of St. Anthony High School in South Huntington.

Migliorino has served at Notre Dame and in the southeast Missouri area for 20 years, and said he has loved every day of it.

“This community is like no other and they have transformed my life," said Migliornio. "I am bringing their joy and love to Saint Anthony's High School. I will carry you in my heart forever and will always bleed blue!" 

Freshman orientation at Notre Dame starts tomorrow, with their official first day on Thursday, Aug. 22.
