On this edition of the program, Dr. Vargas talks about institutional and academic restructuring, including the new college structure and leadership that went into effect on August 1, 2018; the re-accreditation of the entire university, also called regional accreditation and it's impact on the how Southeast operates plus the importance of soft skills and the challenges of communicating the importance of soft skill to college students.

Dan is a 1994 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He majored in radio and minored in political science. He spent three of his four years at Southeast working as a student announcer at KRCU – the beginning of his radio career.
