Snakes are often feared because they’re misunderstood. You have the chance to learn more about these secretive reptiles during the virtual program “Snakes Alive” with the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Tune in to meet some of the nature center snakes, learn to identify common snakes and how to tell venomous from nonvenomous. Plus, you’ll learn about the benefits of having snakes around.
“Snakes Alive” will be held virtually on Friday, August 19 from noon to 1 p.m.
