The SEMO Iris Society will host its annual Rhizome Sale and Auction on August 4, 2024.

This event is an excellent way for community members to purchase iris rhizomes for their gardens.

The sale and auction are open to the public and attendance is free! Bargain tables open at 12:00 p.m., with the auction beginning immediately after bargain table sales conclude. Bargain table rhizomes are grown locally by members, cleaned, trimmed, and labeled with the variety name. Hundreds of rhizomes will be offered! Auction rhizomes include new releases purchased by the club from hybridizers known around the world.

Members will be available to answer questions and offer growing advice.

The event will be held at the University of Missouri Extension Center, Basement Meeting Room, 684 Jackson Trail, Jackson, MO.
