National Stop the Bleed Day Training
Cape Trauma Specialists, in partnership with the St. Francis Foundation, will offer free, life-saving Stop the Bleed training on May 25.
Uncontrolled bleeding is a major cause of preventative deaths. Approximately 40% of trauma-related deaths worldwide are due to bleeding or its consequences.
Stop the Bleed training will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, in the Saint Agatha Conference Room at Entrance 1 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. The training is free to the public. Registration is required and space is limited.
