The Missouri Department of Conservation will host Hike with a Shelter Dog on November 9.

Life can be “ruff” for shelter dogs. SEMO Pets is partnering with the Cape Girardeau Nature Center for a canine hike. Participants will show these dogs some love and help them get some fresh air. The hike will cover moderately hilly terrain on graveled trails. Please bring a water bottle and shoes with good traction. Dogs, leashes, and clean-up bags will be provided.

Hike with a Shelter Dog will take place on Saturday, November 9, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau Nature Center.
