The collection includes many signed editions and first editions of Faulkner's novels; more than 3,000 letters and nearly 2,000 photographs; over 1,000 pages relating to Faulkner's work in Hollywood; and some of Faulkner's hand drawings. The Brodsky Collection also includes biographer Joseph Blotner's extensive research files with interview notes, correspondence, and manuscripts from his book Faulkner: A Biography, the seminal 1974 biography of the famous writer.
