The Cape Girardeau County Historical Society will welcome Joe Newberry on March 18.
Renowned and award-winning singer-songwriter, Joe Newberry was a frequent guest on “Prairie Home Companion,” and is known for clawhammer banjo playing and guitar. Joe lives in North Carolina but has roots in Cape Girardeau.
The Joe Newberry concert will take place on Monday, March 18, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Cape Girardeau County History Center at 102 S. High Street in Jackson. A suggested donation of $20 will be accepted at the door.
