Each Thursday evening during the summer, the Jackson Municipal Band provides a free concert for community members and visitors.

The concert also features local and regional guest artists each week. Special guest on June 5 will be the Weary Ramblers. Newly formed Iowa folk duo, Weary Ramblers bring years of experience to the stage with award winning song writing and chemistry. Chad Elliot and Kathryn Fox showcase multi-instrument performances with tight harmonies and great storytelling.

The Jackson Municipal Band concert will take place on Thursday, June 12, at 7 p.m. at the Nick Leist Memorial Band Shell in Jackson City Park.
