Girlhood - World Premiere
Girlhood - World Premiere
The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance will present the world premiere of Girlhood.
The world premiere of Ida Esmaeili’s electrifying new play, Girlhood follows seven teenage girls over a year as they prepare for their debutante ball, a night which will dramatically change their lives forever. Navigating the tragedies of adolescence, they are funny, strong, and deeply flawed as they try to figure it out. Esmaeili is an exciting new voice in the American Theatre. This performance contains mature content and covers topics of drug abuse and mortality.
You can see Girlhood in the Wendy Kurka Rust Flexible Theater at the River Campus from February 27-March 2. Tickets are available online or at the River Campus Box Office.
