Crisp Museum's Family Day Honoring the Champion Beech Tree

The Crisp Museum will host a Family Day Honoring the Champion Beech Tree on July 29.

The event is free and open to the public and will include an exhibit and activities celebrating the champion beech tree at the River Campus. Participants can experience tree-themed activities including printmaking, making a dreamcatcher and forest scape, and writing poet”tree”. The champion beech tree will be removed after 200 years of standing due to structural decay and instability.

Family Day Honoring the Champion Beech Tree will take place on Saturday, July 29, from 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. at the Crisp Museum at SEMO’s River Campus.
