Environmental Impact II Exhibition at Crisp Museum

Environmental Impact II Exhibition at Crisp Museum

The Crisp Museum will present the traveling exhibition Environmental Impact II. The purpose is to recognize, document, and share the work of contemporary artists who focus their work on global and local environmental issues. The intended outcome is to heighten public awareness about the consequences of human action or inaction, through this art.

The paintings, photographs, prints, installations, and sculptures are different than traditional art because they deal with ominous environmental issues.
These issues range from unsustainable resource development, industrial scale consumption, climate change, oil spills, drought, wild fires, and diminishing water resources. Unfortunately, the environmental issues listed above negatively impact people and animals worldwide.

A First Friday Reception will be held October 7 from 4-8 p.m. at the museum. The exhibition will be open through January 22, 2023.
