An Evening with Dennis Stroughmatt et l’Esprit Creole
The Historic Preservation Alumni Chapter at SEMO will present Dennis Stroughmatt et l’Esprit Creole* on April 12.
The concert will feature songs of the French Creoles who settled in Illinois-Missouri country near the Ozark foothills more than 300 years ago and music that bridges the gap between contemporary Canadian and Louisiana Cajun styles.
You can see Dennis Stroughmatt et l’Esprit Creole in Kem Hall at the Wehking Alumni Center on April 12 from 7:30-9 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.
